San Francisco Airport (SFO) is about 30 to 40 minutes from downtown San Francisco by shuttle/taxi or train (BART).
Oakland Airport (OAK) is about 45 minutes to one hour from downtown San Francisco by shuttle/taxi or train (BART). Fares are often cheaper than flying into SFO.
We DO NOT recommend flying into San Jose Airport (SJC). They sometimes offer cheaper fares, but the airport is an hour and 15 minute drive from San Francisco on a road with heavy traffic during rush hour and there is no train service to this airport
